Multiple times a day, we are wiping down frequently contacted surfaces such as door handles, carts, credit card machines, etc. We are allowing plenty of breaks for our staff to wash their hands and are encouraging them to maintain a 6 foot space between themselves and others. We have temporarily closed our middle cash register, to prevent people from crowding at the front and maintain a 6 foot space between customers and employees.

Please be patient while our warehouses catch up to the increased demand. There is not a shortage of anything, but the unanticipated high demand has depleted the on-hand stock. Everyone, from warehouse staff to truck drivers, is working hard to restock products. We will be continuing to get deliveries at least twice a week. Our truck schedules are unpredictable at this time, so specific times are simply our best guess.

While we have always offered curbside pick-up and delivery, we have increased the availability of both. Because of the decreased need of deliveries, we will be going back to 2 days a week - Tuesdays & Fridays. Please have your order called in by 10:00am the day of delivery. There is a $2.50 fee for this, and there are no minimum or maximum item/dollar amounts. Tips will not be accepted for this service.  Curbside pick-up is a free service, and we ask that you give us a minimum of an hour's notice. Again, we will not accept tips for this service. Payments for either delivery or curb-side pickup can be made by check at the time of delivery or pick-up, or by credit card over the phone or at the time of pick-up.

What We're Up To:

What We Need From You:

The requests below will help reduce the amount of exposure and interaction between our employees and our shoppers. We know some of these things are not the most convenient, but to continue offering service, we have to remain healthy.

  • Reusable bags are allowed in the store again, feel free to bring them and get 5¢ off for each bag.

  • Refillable jugs are allowed to be used again.

  • Follow instructions at the registers to maintain a safe distance from the cashiers: staying behind the lines, only 1 person at the register to pay, etc.

  • Masks are encouraged but not required when in the store because keeping a distance is difficult, and in some cases impossible.

We're All In This Together

We are doing everything possible to continue to support this community, and we appreciate all of the thanks and support from you. While we are not enforcing limits on most products, we are encouraging everyone to be thoughtful and courteous while they are shopping by only buying what they need. We are proud to be a part of this community, and we appreciate everyone's help to keep WaKeeney safe.

The Trego County Sheriff's Department, as well as the Trego County Emergency Management are also working to make sure everyone has what they need at this time. If you are in need of a volunteer for any reason, contact the County Clerk at 785-743-5773, the County Treasurer at 785-743-2001, or the Sheriff's office at 785-743-5721.
